Description

Items from Bouldin's store which was located on Main Street in Ashland City. The building was constructed between 1900 & 1910. O.G. Sprouse had the first business in the building. Mr. Sprouse did not remain in business long & returned to concentrate on his business in Springfield. The Bouldin's opened shop in 1910. Bouldin's remained in business until 1966. The building was demolished in the early 1970s. The Ashland City Department Store or Dime Store replaced it. The new building still stands & is home to a laundromat, taco restaurant & several other businesses in the lower level.
